The 14-player Ireland Women squad was revealed on Sunday for the domestic tri-series against Australia and Pakistan, with skipper Laura Delany set to take the helm once more.
Due to a failed injury recovery, Laura missed their previous series against South Africa. Additionally injured were opening bowler Orla Prendergast and Rebecca Stokell, both of whom have since returned to the team.
Additionally, Ava Canning and Amy Hunter are back after missing the last series owing to test commitments.
After being completely destroyed by South Africa in a one-day international series earlier this month, Ireland is looking to bounce back.
In addition, Cricket Ireland unveiled a new national selection committee for the senior women's team, with selector Cathy Murphy resigning immediately.
Carrie Archer will continue to serve as the chair of the national women's selection panel under the new national selection panel.
Glenn Querl, James Cameron-Dow, and Paul Davidge, the head coaches for the Arachas Super Series, are also on the panel alongside head coach Ed Joyce.
According to Carrie Archer, Chair of National Women's Selectors, "We were pleased to see numerous strong performances during the recent South Africa series and, combined with the return of several players to the player pool after exams or injury, it has certainly made for several difficult decisions on selection.
"However, these difficulties with selection simply serve to highlight the fact that we are making progress toward creating a larger talent pool in Ireland from which to select candidates.
"The fact that some players didn't make the team is regrettable, but they are still in the running for further possibilities, especially in the run-up to the T20 World Cup Qualifier in September. Due to the large number of Super Series games and upcoming international competitions, we have a lot to play for and a lot of players to watch "Added she.
From July 16 to July 24, a T20I tri-series will be contested in Bready, with Ireland taking on Australia in the opening game on July 17.
