On October 5, the Legends League Cricket 2022, which is taking place for the first time in India, will play its final game at Jaipur's Sawai Mansingh Stadium.
According to Raman Raheja, co-founder and CEO of Legends League Cricket, Jaipur was selected as the location for the major match in consideration of the historical significance of the site and the city, which has previously hosted world-class cricket matches.
Raheja remarked, "It's a fantastic venue and we hope the fans will truly enjoy the experience of watching the game's legends compete for the winners' trophy.
We have seen tense finishes in the league stage, and we expect the final to be no different. "As we have seen, the league has been as competitive as the best of the T20 leagues around the world, and the players, be it the bowlers or the batters, have been enthralling everyone with their outstanding performances," he added.
The Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur will host four matches, including the qualifier and elimination games, and will host international cricket stars for the first time since 2012.
The top two teams from the league stage will compete in the qualifying on October 2 for a spot in the championship. On the other side, the third-placed club and the victor of the qualifier will face off in the Eliminator game on October 3.
The organisers had planned to hold the crucial match in Cuttack, but they have already changed their minds due to the city's celebrations.
