Yusuf Pathan and Mitchell Johnson got into a physical altercation on Sunday during the 2022 Legends League Cricket game between the Bhilwara Kings and the India Capitals at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in this city.
The incident's footage is currently becoming popular on social media. In the footage, Yusuf and Johnson can be seen bickering before the pacer pushes him. The umpire stepped in right away and moved Johnson to the other side.
According to sources who spoke with IANS, the organisers would be banning Johnson from a match in accordance with ICC rules since they are not happy with what happened.
In the meantime, West Indies star Ashley Nurse and former New Zealand captain Ross Taylor both hit scorching half-centuries to enable India Capitals advance to the final with a four-wicket victory over Bhilwara Kings.
Taylor scored an explosive 84 off 39 balls, including nine fours and five huge sixes, and Nurse notched an unbeaten 60. His 28-ball magnificent innings included five fours and four sixes, as India Capitals comfortably chased down the season's highest mark with three balls remaining.
Despite falling short on Sunday, the Irfan Pathan-led Bhilwara Kings will have another chance to earn a spot in the championship game on Monday when they play the Gujarat Giants, who finished in third place.
Final will be played at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on Wednesday.
