Manchester Originals and Southern Brave had to settle for a point each in Match 19 of the inaugural Men’s Hundred, as rain limited play to only 71 balls at Old Trafford.
The scheduled start was delayed by 45 minutes because of rain. The contest was reduced to 90 balls a side. James Vince won the toss and asked the Originals to bat.
Riding on Colin Munro’s 28-ball 41 not out, Brave reached 98/3 before rain ruined the contest. Tymal Mills, Chris Jordan and Jake Lintott all claimed a wicket each for the Brave.
