England have almost qualified for the semi-finals after beating Sri Lanka by 26 runs in Match 29 of the Men's T20 World Cup 2021, at Sharjah. They have now won all four their matches. South Africa and Australia are next to them, having won twice in three attempts.
Sri Lanka and West Indies are at fourth and fifth places respectively, with two points each. Bangladesh are yet to win a match in the Super 12s after three games. They languish at the bottom.

There were no fixtures of Group 2 on 1 November. Pakistan are at the top of the points table with three wins in three matches. Afghanistan, New Zealand, Namibia occupy the next three places. India and Scotland are at the bottom. Both have lost twice in two games so far.
