The five time winners and the team to keep an eye on, Mumbai Indians are the absolute darlings of the Indian Premier League. MI spent 11.70 crore INR of their available budget of Rs. 15.35 crore in IPL 2021 auction.
With Lasith Malinga announcing his retirement, Mumbai brought on board two pacers to their squad. Nathan Coulter Nile was re-signed and was the most expensive buy for MI in the auction at ₹ 5 crore. Kiwi pacer Adam Milne was also bought for ₹ 3.2 crore.
MI also decided to buy Arjun Tendulkar for his base price of ₹ 20 lakh.
