Match 15, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa v Balochistan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 202/5 in 20 overs (Farhan 43; Bhatti 2-34) beat Balochistan 147/9 in 20 overs (Sohail 61*; Afridi 3-8) by 55 runs. Player of the Match: Asif Afridi.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa beat Balochistan by 55 runs in Match 15 of the National T20 Cup 2021 in Rawalpindi. They piled 202/5 and restricted Balochistan to 147/9.

Mohammad Rizwan (40), Sahibzada Farhan (43), Iftikhar Ahmed (36 in 18 balls), and Adil Amin (26* in 13) all chipped in with handy contributions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s total after they were put in. Sohail Akhtar then scored 61 not out in off 43 balls, with five sixes and two fours, but could not find any support from their teammates. As a result, they finished on a paltry total.

Asif Afridi returned excellent figures of 4-0-8-3, and Arshad Iqbal 3-16, while Shaheen Shah Afridi finished with 2-30.

Match 16, Central Punjab v Sindh

Central Punjab 168/8 in 20 overs (Malik 85*; Rumman 4-33) beat Sindh 110/6 in 14.4 overs (Sharjeel 36; Qasim 3-20) by 12 runs (D/L Method). Player of the Match: Shoaib Malik.

Central Punjab registered a 12-run win against Sindh in a rain-marred contest. They rode on Shoaib Malik’s unbeaten 47-ball 85 to post 168/8. For Sindh, Rumman Raees returned 4-33, and Abrar Ahmed 3-39.

The revised target for Sindh was 123 in 14.4 overs, but they struggled to get going from the beginning. Sharjeel Khan was the only batter who scored in excess of 15, as they closed on 110/6. With 3-20, Qasim Akram was the pick of the Central Punjab bowlers.
