Match 19, Sindh vs Central Punjab

Sindh 128/7 in 20 overs (Sarfaraz 54*; Ashraf 2-19) lost to Central Punjab 131/2 in 15.4 overs (Talat 68*; Hamza 1-29) by 8 wickets with 26 balls to spare. Player of the Match: Hussain Talat.

Central Punjab registered an eight-wicket win against Sindh in Match 19 of the National T20 Cup 2021 in Rawalpindi. They restricted Sindh to 128/7, and chased down the target with 26 balls to spare.

Sarfaraz Ahmed top-scored with 37-ball 54 not out in Sindh’s total after they were asked to bat. None of the others could even reach 25. Central Punjab were reduced to 33/2 in 4.3 overs before Hussain Talat (68* in 52 balls) and Shoaib Malik (40* in 25) added an unbroken 98 to take the game away from Sindh.

Match 20, Northern v Southern Punjab

Northern 211/5 in 20 overs (Haider 72*; Zia-ul-Haq 2-48) lost to Southern Punjab 217/6 in 19.5 overs (Salman 68*; Irshad 2-27) by 4 wickets with 1 ball to spare. Player of the Match: Agha Salman.

Southern Punjab chased down 212 against Northern in Match 20 of the competition. Agha Salman remained unbeaten on 68 off 48 balls, with five sixes and four fours to take Southern Punjab home with a ball and four wickets to spare. He was assisted by Aamer Yamin (41 in 21) and Azam Khan (23 in 9) to make that happen.

Before that, Haider Ali top-scored with an unbeaten 40-ball 72 in Northern’s 211/5. Imad Wasim also scored 40 in 18 balls, and Mohammad Nawaz with 38 in 25, but their efforts were not enough.
