Ross Taylor will turn out for New Zealand for the last time when they take on the Netherlands in the three-match ODI series. Taylor has already retired from the other formats. He was supposed to tour Australia for the Chappell-Hadlee Trophy, which had to be called off in the aftermath of the outbreak of the Omicron variant of the Coronavirus.

New Zealand will miss a host of regular players due to their commitment to various Indian Premier League franchises. The ODI series will start on 29 March, three days after the IPL 2022 commences. Before that, both sides will play a solitary T20I.

Michael Bracewell has earned a maiden international call-up from the national side. He is a part of both the ODI and T20I squads. Kyle Jamieson, included in the ODI squad, is likely to spearhead the pace attack with Matt Henry.

New Zealand ODI squad: Tom Latham (c & wk), Doug Bracewell, Michael Bracewell, Mark Chapman, Kyle Jamieson, Colin de Grandhomme, Martin Guptill, Matt Henry, Henry Nicholls, Ish Sodhi, Ross Taylor, Blair Tickner, Will Young.
