Southern Punjab vs Khyber Pakhtunkhwa

Southern Punjab 193/5 in 20 overs (Tahir 78; Imran 2-35) beat Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 182/6 in 20 overs (Gul 54; Ilyas 2-34) by 11 runs.

Tayyab Tahir's 48-ball 78 propelled Southern Punjab to 193/5 before the bowlers restricted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to 182/6.

Tahir remained calm as Southern Punjab lost wickets at the other end. He was supported by Azam Khan (25 off 13 balls) and Aamer Yamin (24 off 13 balls). Niaz Khan and Imran Khan took two wickets apiece.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa lost both their openers cheaply. By the end of the seventh over they were 32/3. Kamran Ghulam and Nabi Gul then added 79 for the fourth wicket to keep their team in the game. Ghulam got out on 46, while Gul was undone on 54. In the end they were restricted to 182/6.

Balochistan vs Central Punjab

Balochistan 162/7 in 20 overs (Shafique 60; Gul 3-20) lost to Central Punjab 163/7 in 18.1 overs (Akhlaq 32; Sohail 2-20) by three wickets.

Abdullah Shafique's 42-ball 60 went in vain as Central Punjab chased down a target of 163 in 18.1 overs. Barring Shafique, none of the batters stood up to the occasion. A 27-ball 43 from Amad Butt helped them post a competitive total. Sameen Gul picked three wickets for Central Punjab.

Muhammad Akhlaq's 32, Faheem Ashraf's 15-ball 27, and a blistering cameo from Wahab Riaz helped them win the match. Riaz struck four sixes for his 9-ball 28.
