Due to illness, Pakistan's fast bowler Naseem Shah will spend the night in the hospital and miss his team's fifth T20I match against England on Wednesday.

The PCB stated that their own medical panel was keeping an eye on the pacer's health and would decide whether or not to allow him to continue playing against England after reviewing his medical reports.

The most recent development basically excludes Naseem from the entire Lahore leg of the series against England, according to a report on ESPNcricinfo. Additionally, it casts question on him for the forthcoming New Zealand trip, which is scheduled to begin on October 7 in Christchurch.

The Pakistani team departs for New Zealand on October 3 to compete in a T20I triangular series against Bangladesh, with the championship game taking place on October 14.

After that, they fly to Australia for the World Cup, where they play two warm-up matches, including one against England, before taking on India on October 23 in Melbourne.

The 19-year-old Naseem participated fully in the just finished Asia Cup and also played in the opening game of the current series versus England. In Shaheen Shah Afridi's absence, he had assumed the left-role armer's as Pakistan's primary new-ball bowler up top.
