The women's national cricket team of Pakistan will depart for Belfast, Ireland, tomorrow to take part in a tri-series of Twenty20 matches.
Early on July 12th, the Bismah Maroof-led team will depart for Belfast via Dubai (Tuesday). The group took a two-day break over Eidul Adha to rest up for the trip to the two festivities.
On the 16th of this month, Pakistan will face Australia in the inaugural game of the Tri-Nation Women's T20I Series at the Bready Cricket Club.
Australia and Ireland will each be played twice by the national squad.
The top two teams advance to the championship game. The Bready Cricket Club will host each of the seven tournament games.
Pakistan will fly to Birmingham to compete in the Commonwealth Games after the tri-series is over. Pool A includes the green shirts, the reigning T20 world champions Australia, India, and Barbados. Against Friday, July 29, Pakistan takes on Barbados in their inaugural game.
Cricket matches during the Games will be staged at the Edgbaston Stadium, Birmingham.
