After suffering a defeat in the opening fixture, against Lahore Qalandars, Islamabad United continued their heroic run in the Abu Dhabi leg following a 4-wicket win over Multan Sultans. Shabad Khan’s men finish at top of the points table with 16 points. They are on a five-match winning streak ahead of the Playoffs.
Multan, Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars all ended with 10 points. Despite winning the opening two games since the resumption, Lahore missed out on the Playoffs on net run rate. Quetta Gladiators languish at the bottom, with four points.
