Bengal dominated Day 1 of the quarter-final against Jharkhand at Just Cricket Academy, Bengaluru, finishing on 310/1. After Jharkhand opted to bowl, Abhishek Raman and Abhimanyu Easwaran added 88 for the opening stand before the former retired hurt for 41. Easwaran (65) continued until Sushant Mishra trapped him leg before, picking up Jharkhand's only wicket of the day. But Sudip Gharami (106*) slammed his maiden First-class hundred, and will resume Day 2 with Anustup Majumdar (85*). They have added an unbroken 178.
Mumbai 304/3 (Suved Parkar 104*; Deepak Dhapola 3-53) vs Uttarakhand.
An unbroken stand of 128 between debutant Suved Parkar (104*) and Sarfaraz Khan (69*) helped Mumbai close Day 1 on 304/3 against Uttarakhand at KSCA Cricket Ground 2, Alur. Opting to bat, Prithvi Shaw blazed away to a 20-ball 21 and Yashasvi Jaiswal got 39 in 45 balls. Both fell by 64 before Parkar added 112 with Armaan Jaffer (60). Deepak Dhapola (3-53) claimed all three wickets for Uttarakhand.

Karnataka finished on 213/7 on a topsy-turvy day's cricket at the KSCA Cricket Ground, Alur. They were comfortably placed at 95/1, but Saurabh Kumar (4-67) and Shivam Mavi (3-40) struck consistently throughout the day. Of the six Karnataka batters reached double figures, only Ravikumar Samarth (57) went past 40, while there were only two stands – worth 57 and 63 – exceeding 40.
Punjab 219 (Abhishek Sharma 47, Anmolpreet Singh 47; Anubhav Agarwal 3-36) lead Madhya Pradesh 1/0 by 218 runs.
Despite losing Shubman Gill early, Punjab reached 98/1, riding on scores of 47 from captain Abhishek Sharma and Anmolpreet Singh at the KSCA Cricket (3) Ground, Alur. But a wicket triggered a collapse, and once that happened, only Sanvir Singh (41) provided some resistance as Punjab were bowled out for 219, Anubhav Agarwal claiming 3-36 and Puneet Datey 3-43. There was still time left for Madhya Pradesh to bat for an over and score five runs.
