Royal Challengers Bangalore have appointed Sanjay Bangar as the head coach for the forthcoming season. Bangar will replace Mike Hesson, who will continue to be with the franchise as a Director of Cricket.
Bangar played 12 Tests and 15 ODIs for India. He was already with the Royal Challengers as a batting consultant. In the past, he has also worked with Punjab Kings and India Men in various coaching roles.
