Sourav Ganguly has been admitted to Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata after testing positive for Covid-19. He is double vaccinated, and his condition is stable as of now.
He returned positive in the RT-PCR test conducted on Monday. The medical doctors advised him to isolate himself in the hospital where he will be under constant scrutiny.
'He was taken to Woodlands Nursing Home last night. He has been given medication and is currently stable,' a BCCI source told PTI.
Earlier this year, Ganguly was hospitalised following a cardiac attack. He underwent angioplasty twice, and has fully recovered. It was later diagnosed that he had been suffering from a triple-vessel disease, and a couple of stents were placed.
