Summer T20 Bash 2021, UAE vs Ireland: Preview, fantasy tips, probable XIs Image

The United Arab Emirates and Ireland will be up against each other in Summer T20 Bash 2021 at ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, on Thursday, 7 September.

The UAE will be heading into the tournament off a 17-run loss over Namibia, where they failed to chase 160. Barring Waseem Muhammad, who scored 39 in 36 balls, the batters got starts but could not convert them into substantial scores.

Wasim and Suri will open the innings. Wasim was quite handy with the ball as well in the last match, picking up two wickets. Chundangapoyil Rizwan, Muhammad Usman, and Basil Hameed will form the crux of the middle order. Zahoor Khan and Kashif Daud will spearhead the pace attack, and Sultan Ahmed will be the main spinner.

Ireland will be coming on the back of a 3-2 T20I series win against Zimbabwe. Kevin O'Brien's return to form has been a major positive for them. O'Brien scored consistently in that Zimbabwe series. He will be opening with Paul Stirling.

George Dockrell and Simi Singh will have crucial roles to play as all-rounders. Simi Singh hasn't had a great outing in the Zimbabwe series, and he will be eager to perform well. Craig Young and Mark Adair will be their main pacers.
