Scotland and Namibia will face each other in Summer T20 Bash at ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, on 9 October.

Namibia defeated the United Arab Emirates in the opening game of the bash. They posted 160, and restricted the UAE on 142/9. Craig Williams starred with a 37-ball 57, while Stephan Baard added 39 in 34 balls. David Wiese made 10 in his first game for Namibia.

Jan Frylinck then ran through the UAE, picking 6-24, the best T20I figures by a bowler from an Associate Nation. Ruben Trumpelmann picked up two wickets, and Wiese one. They are likely to go unchanged.

Scotland, meanwhile, defeated Papua New Guinea by eight wickets. They rode on a half-century from George Munsey and a 28-ball 41 from Richie Berrington to post 156/2 in 17.5 overs. The in-form Berrington has been their most consistent batter.

Josh Davey was in the playing XI but Bradley Wheal failed to make a cut. Chris Greaves was impressive with the ball, as he conceded just 17 from his quota of four overs.
