In Group C, Jharkhand beat Haryana by 16 runs and Rajasthan beat Andhra by 11 runs, in Vadodara. Rishi Dhawan almost single-handedly (6-23, 47) helped Himachal Pradesh edge past Jammu & Kashmir by four runs.
In Group D, Kerala eased to an eight-wicket win against Assam. Gujarat, too, beat Railways by eight wickets. But the most remarkable result came in the third fixture, where Madhya Pradesh bundled out Bihar for 59 in 18 overs and reached the target in just 5.4 overs.
