Chepauk Super Gillies sucessfully defended their Tamil Nadu Premier League title by defeating Ruby Trichy Warriors in the final.

Dindigul Dragons’ Hari Nishanth finished as the leading run-scorer of Tamil Nadu Premier League 2021. He aggregated 368 runs in nine games, and bagged the Player of the Series award. Lyca Kovai Kings’ Sai Sudharsan and Ganga Sridhar Raju finished second and third respectively.
With 280 runs in eight games, Nidhish Rajagopal came fourth. He made 26 in 17 balls for Ruby Trichy Warriors in their eight-run defeat to Chepauk Super Gillies in the final. N. Jagadeesan, who made 90 off just 58 deliveries, is at fifth place.
Most wickets
With 13 wickets in 8 games, Ruby Trichy Warriors’ Saravan Kumar topped the wickets chart of the tournament. Saravan, however, went wicketless in the final, and conceded 56 in his quota of four overs.
At second place is Dindigul Dragons’ Rangaraj Suthesh, who claimed 12 wickets in nine matches, while Sai Kishore finished third. He defended 13 runs in the last over of the tournament.
