Quarter-final 3, Saurashtra v Vidarbha
Vidarbha 150 in 40.3 overs (Wankhade 72; Chudasama 2-15) lost to Saurashtra 151/3 in 29.5 overs (Mankad 77*; Thakare 2-13) by 7 wickets with 121 balls to spare.
Saurashtra beat Vidarbha by seven wickets in the third quarter-final of the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021/22 at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. They bowled out Vidarbha for 150 in 40.3 overs and reached to target in 29.5 overs.
All six Saurashtra bowlers claimed at least a wicket. Apoorv Wankhade top-scored for Vidarbha, with a 69-ball 72, but received little support. Saurashtra were reduced to 35/3 before Prerak Mankad (77*) and Arpit Vasavada (41*) added an unbroken 116 to complete the chase with 121 balls remaining. They will meet Tamil Nadu in the second semi-final, on 24 December.
Quarter-final 4, Kerala v Services
Kerala 175 in 40.4 overs (Kunnummal 85; Pathania 3-19) lost to Services 176/3 in 30.5 overs (Chauhan 95; Manukrishnan 2-23) by 7 wickets with 115 balls to spare.
Services chased 176 against Kerala with seven wickets and 115 balls to spare in the fourth quarter-final at the K.L. Saini Ground. Diwesh Pathania (3-19) did the most damage for Services as they bundled out Kerala for 175 in 40.4 overs. They will now play against Himachal Pradesh in the first semi-final, on 24 December.
Services lost Lakhan Singh and Mumtaz Qadir early, to U. Manukrishnan. Then Ravi Chauhan (95) and Rajat Paliwal (65*) held the fort, adding 154 before the latter and Mohit Ahlawat (5*) saw off the target in 30.5 overs.
