Marnus Labuschagne’s 93 went in vain as Glamorgan succumbed to a four-run defeat against Gloucestershire at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. They needed 19 runs from the last over, but Ryan Higgins did enough to defend that.
Labuschagne was let down by the lack of support from the other end. Apart from him, only three batters reached double digits. In the end they were restricted to 175/9.
Higgins had earlier chipped in with valuable runs before Glenn Phillips made 44 to help Gloucestershire post 179 on the board.
Lancashire vs Leicestershire, Old Trafford

Lancashire registered their second victory of the campaign, thanks to an explosive fifty from Finn Allen followed by a disciplined bowling performance. Allen struck seven fours and a six en route to his unbeaten 73. For Leicestershire, Gavin Griffiths picked up four wickets, while the skipper Colin Ackermann had two.
In reply, Leicestershire could only make 156/5, and lost the match by 16 runs. Scott Steel played 52 balls for his 54, and Josh Inglis and Rishi Patel were the only players to shift through gears.
Yorkshire vs Warwickshire, Leeds
Warwickshire 144/8 in 20 overs (Hain 59; Thompson 3-23) lost to Yorkshire 147/4 in 18.3 overs (Bairstow 34; Briggs 2-28) by 6 wickets with 9 balls to spare. Player of the Match: Jordan Thompson
Yorkshire outclassed Warwickshire with both and ball to win this contest by six wickets. Batting first, Warwickshire could only make 144/8 (Sam Hain 59) as they kept losing wickets frequently.
For Yorkshire, Jordan Thompson – later named Player of the Match – picked up 3-23, while David Willey and Matthew Waite picked two apiece. They hardly broke into the stride and chased down the target with nine balls to spare.
Middlesex vs Surrey, Lord’s
Surrey 223/7 in 20 overs (Jacks 70; Sowter 3-40) beat Middlesex 169/9 in 20 overs (Stirling 58; Curran 4-29) by 54 runs. Player of the Match: Will Jacks
Will Jack’s 24-ball 70 was the highlight of the day as he clobbered the Middlesex attack all around the park to propel Surrey to a mammoth 223 in the London derby. Jason Roy scored 45 off 43 balls, and the Curran brothers and Jamie Overton all made valuable contributions.
Middlesex started off on an explosive note but later crumbled under the pressure of the daunting target. Stephen Eskinazi and Paul Stirling added 87 runs for the first wicket, Eoin Morgan got a 17-ball 32, but the rest of the batters faltered under pressure.
