Kent will go up against Sussex on 18 September, in the second semi-final of the Vitality T20 Blast 2021 at the Edgbaston, Birmingham. Both sides met in a semi-final fixture last time in 2007 at the same venue, where Kent emerged victorious, and then won the title by beating Gloucestershire in the final.
Sussex have arguably got the most fearsome pace bowling options, featuring George Garton, Tymal Mills, Chris Jordan, and Ollie Robinson. Unfortunately, they will miss the services of Rashid Khan, who are currently in the UAE for the remainder of the IPL.
