West Indies began the day on 95/2, eight runs behind Bangladesh's first-innings total. Nkrumah Bonner (33) fell after a 62-run stand, but Kraigg Brathwaite carried on after adding another 63 with Jermaine Blackwood (63). Brathwaite's 400-minute vigil – he hit nine fours – ended when Khaled Ahmed trapped him leg-before.
The tail did not last, with only Gudakesh Motie hitting out for an unbeaten 21-ball 23. For Bangladesh, Mehidy claimed 4-59, Khaled 2-59, and Ebadot Hossain 2-65.
