West Indies romped over Pakistan by six wickets to clinch the series by 3-0 in Antigua, on Sunday, 4 July. They will now play five-match ODI series which starts on Wednesday, 7 July.
Javeria Khan won the toss and opted to bat first. Javeria Rauf, who failed to perform in the first two games, was replaced by Muneeba Ali. She responded with 18 off 15 deliveries, while Khan (6) got out cheaply. Shamilia Connell picked up both wickets.
Sidra Nawaz’s dismissal reduced Pakistan to 66/5. Aliya Riaz played 35 balls for heer 29 before falling to Stafanie Taylor. The next six batters combined just 18 runs in all as Pakistan were bowled out for 102 in 91.4 overs.
Taylor followed Riyaz's dismissal with Diana Baig and Anam Amin to do the hat-trick. She finished with four wickets, while Anisa Mohammed picked up three wickets.
Diana Baig then removed Deandra Dottin and Kyshona Knight in the third over, to reduce West Indies to 17/3. Taylor, who had not contributed much with bat so far, rose to the occasion. She held the fort from one end, forging important partnerships with Chedean Nation and Kycia Knight.
Taylor remained unbeaten on 43, while Nation (20), and Knight (24) provided valuable contributions. West Indies chased down the target in 19.1 overs.
