The fourth T20I between West Indies and Pakistan only saw three overs of play before the on-field umpires were forced to call off the match yet again. This was the third time they had to do that, in the last seven days. With that, Pakistan won the series 1-0, thanks to a win in the second T20I, the only completed game of the series.
Babar Azam won the toss and asked West Indies to bat. The contest on time, too. Chris Gayle and Andre Fletcher took 14 and 12 respectively from the first two overs to get West Indies off to a blistering start. Hasan Ali, coming to bowl the third over, then conceded just four before rain played the spoilsport in the match, as well as the series.
The first T20I was abandoned after 9 overs of play. The second saw a completed match, where Pakistan had earned a hard-fought seven-run win in a shortened 15-over-a-side game. Both sides had to endure another frustrating day in the third, as only 1.2 overs were possible this time as torrential rain again had the last laugh.
The match was also the last appearance on home soil for Dwayne Bravo, the only West Indian to do the 1,000 run-50 wicket double in the format.
Brief scores: West Indies 30/0 in 3 overs (Andre Fletcher 17*) vs Pakistan. No result.
Pakistan won the series 1-0.
