West Indies vs Pakistan, 4th Women’s ODI: Preview, prediction and probable XIs Image

Pakistan will be up against West Indies in the fourth ODI of the five-match series at Sir Vivian Richards Stadium in Antigua. Having already taken an unassailable 3-0 lead, West Indies would not mind testing their bench strength.

Pakistan’s batters have failed them throughout this tour. They have made frequent changes in their line-up, but none of them yielded positive results. Sidra Nawaz was dropped for Ayesha Naseem in the last game, and the latter got out cheaply.

Pakistan were bundled out for 182 in the last game. Javeria Khan again failed with the bat, making 12 before getting dismissed by Chinelle Henry. Ayesha Zafar fell to Shakera Salman for the second successive time. Omaima Sohail (62 in 79 balls) and Nida Dar (24) added 87 for the third wicket.

West Indies are bolstered by the return of Chinelle Henry, who picked up three wickets in the last ODI. Stafanie Taylor missed out, and is likely to return to lead the side now. Leading in Taylor’s absence, Anisa Mohammed returned figures of 10-1-25-3.

Hayley Matthews remained unbeaten on 100 to see her team past the finishing line. She was helped by Britney Cooper (45).
