Brisbane Heat registered a three-wicket win over Sydney Sixers to climb to the second position in the points table. They restricted Sydney Sixers to 91/7 before chasing it down in 14.1 overs. Jess Jonassen took three wickets for the Heat. They have now won seven games, same as the table-topper Melbourne Renegades.
The Sixers, meanwhile, slipped to sixth place. Hobart Hurricanes and Sydney Thunder occupy the last two spots.
