Melbourne Renegades rode on Jemimah Rodrigues' 75 not out and Courtney Webb's 3-21 to beat Sydney Thunder by nine runs. Josephine Dooley (37) and Rodrigues got Melbourne off a rollicking start, adding 84 for the opening stand.

The Thunder then lost an early wicket in Tahlia Wilson. Smriti Mandhana held the fort as wickets kept falling from the other. Mandhana was on 64 when she was bowled by Harmanpreet Kaur. Deepti Sharma tried to revive the chase with a 10-ball 23, but in the end Sydney fell short.

Hobart Hurricanes vs Melbourne Stars

Melbourne Stars 144/4 in 20 overs (Garth 44*; Vlaeminck 3-27) lost to Hobart Hurricanes 147/4 in 19.2 overs (du Preez 62*; Day 1-17) by 6 wickets with 4 balls to spare. Player of the Match: Mignon du Preez.

Mignon du Preez's 45-ball 62 propelled Hobart Hurricanes to a six-wicket win against over Melbourne Stars. They chased down 145 in 19.2 overs. Nicola Carey (24), Richa Ghosh (24) and Rachel Priest (23) chipped in with valuable contributions. 

Earlier, Maia Bouchier (42) and Kim Garth (44*) added 83 for the fourth wicket to take Melbourne to 144/4. Tayla Vlaeminck claimed three wickets for Hobart.
