The inaugural Women's Premier League will be held in Mumbai from March 4 to 26. The marquee tournament will feature 22 matches, with the Brabourne Stadium and DY Patil Stadium serving as hosts.

The Women's Premier League Player Auction list is out, with 409 cricketers set to go under the hammer on February 13th at the Jio World Convention Centre in Mumbai. The inaugural Women's Premier League Player Auction drew 1525 players, with the final list reduced to 409 players.

There are 246 Indians and 163 overseas players, with 8 from associate nations among the 409 total. There are 202 capped players, 199 uncapped players, and 8 from associate nations.

The five teams have a total of 90 slots available, with 30 reserved for international players.

"The highest reserve price is INR 50 lakh, with 24 players opting to be placed in the highest bracket. Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma, and India's Under-19 T20 World Cup-winning captain Shafali Verma are among the few Indians who have earned a spot in the top bracket.

"Ellyse Perry, Sophie Ecclestone, Sophie Devine, and Deandra Dottin are among the 13 international players who have committed to the INR 50 lakh reserve price. The auction list includes 30 players with a starting bid of INR 40 Lakh "The BCCI said in a statement.
