The final of the Women's senior ODI Trophy will be played between Karnataka and Railways, on 20 November, at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The semi-finals were abandoned due to rain. Both sides qualified by virtue of superior net run rate – Karnataka against Punjab, Railways against Bengal.
Karnataka beat Madhya Pradesh by five wickets in the quarter-final, chasing down 170 with 34 balls to spare. For them, V. Chandu, Challuru Prathyusa and Shreyanka Patil got two wickets apiece, Satheesh Shubha scored 43, Kumar Prathyoosha 45 not out, and Veda Krishnamurthy 17. Dinesh Vrinda is their leading run-scorer, with 347 runs in five matches.
Railways, meanwhile, will head into the final off a 149-run win over Odisha. S. Meghana (90) and Nuzhat Parween (62) added 158 for the opening stand as Railways finished on 271/9. Rajeshwari Gayakwad and Dayalan Hemalatha then picked up two wickets each to restrict Odisha to 122/7.
