Mahmudullah had a fairytale retirement from Test cricket. Laced with 17 fours and a six, he scored an unbeaten 150 to take Bangladesh to a mammoth 478, and was named Player of the Match.
Taskin Ahmed 9 (W 5, Ave 25.26, R 75, SR 55.97)
Taskin had an impressive outing. He contributed 75 in a 191-run stand, the second-highest ninth-wicket partnership in Test cricket, with Mahmudullah. He also picked up five wickets.
Mehidy Hasan Miraz 8.5 (W 9, Ave 16.44)
With nine scalps at an average of 16.44, Miraz finished as the highest wicket-taker in the contest. With bat, he had a golden duck.
Liton Das 7 (R 95, Ave 95, SSR 64.63, C 3)
With a 147-ball 95, Das started the Bangladeshi recovery after they were 132/6 in the first innings, laying a foundation from where Mahmudullah and Taskin took over. He also held three catches behind the stumps.
Shadman Islam 7 (R 138, Ave 138, SR 53.08)
After scoring 23 in the first innings, Shadman remained not out on 115 in the second.
Najmul Hossain Shanto 7 (R 119, Ave 119, SR 94.44)
Shanto lasted eight balls in the first innings, but got an unbeaten 117 in 118 balls in the second, with five fours and six sixes.
Mominul Haque 7 (R 70, Ave 70, SR 76.09)
Mominul batted beautifully for his 70, scored at a strike rate of 76.
Shakib Al Hasan 4.5 (W 5, Ave 25.20, R 3, Ave 3)
Shakib scored only three runs, but he had match figures of 5-126 from 59.5 overs.
Saif Hassan 4 (R 43, Ave 22.5, SR 43)
Hassan fell for a duck in the first innings, then made 43 in 95 balls in the second.
Mushfiqur Rahim 2 (R 11, Ave 11, C 0)
Rahim made 11 in his only innings. That was all from him in the five-day contest.
Ebadot Hossain 2 (W 1, Ave 97)
Ebadot bowled 32 overs and conceded 97. His only success came on the final day.
